The 2020 State of Maine Shop Hop is here! Throughout the month of August, Hoppers can visit 24 quilt shop across the state--either in person, or virtually from home! Here's how it works at Fabricate:
This year, Fabricate's gone totally touchless with our Shop Hop pack of free 20th anniversary block pattern, 5" charm square, and a "Fab" sticker to put on your passport.
In-person Hoppers: you can pick up the touchless pack in person; or, we'll deliver it to you in our parking lot, curbside (just call 207-288-5113 before you arrive). PLUS: Every 2020 Hopper who makes a purchase at Fabricate will receive a freereusable shopping tote! [ Please review Fabricate's COVID-19 guidelines before your visit! Maine Shop Hop 2020 store hours: Monday - Saturday, 10 am - 5:30 pm. Sunday, noon - 5 pm.
Virtual Hoppers:you are welcome, too! Just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to say you've visited our website, and provide your name and mailing address. We will email you a .pdf of our "Baxter Park" block pattern, and snail-mail you the 5" charm square and the "Fab" sticker for your passport!
We're really happy to share Fabricate's 2020 Challenge quilt: Home at Last. Designed and pieced by Nessa Reifsnyder, quilted by The Batty Quilter. This quilt honors Sparky, who came to Nessa's family via a wonderful organization, Old Dogs New Digs. All fabrics are from Robert Kaufman's "Birds and Berries Maine" line, plus select Kaufman blenders.
